This is our tubular contol arm set for the 1998 thru 2012 Ford Ranger. This set is made for a bagged truck. This means the upper arms are 3/8" longer than stock to allow for proper alignment when lowered. They use a Ranger balljoint that presses in just like stock.
They also come with Energy Suspension graphite impregnated polyurethane bushings. Yes those are better than your average Daystar or Prothane bushings as they are graphite impregnated and will not squeak and never need grease. The part number is 3040 and can be purchased from us or any place that sells Energy Suspension products.
The tubes are 1.25" od DOM tube with a .250" wall thickness. The balljoint plates are .500" thick and come with a spacer ring for the balljoints. The set in the pic is a prototype being tested and the new set has a different shape plate that's a little cooler looking.
