This is our version of the strut rod elinimator kit for the 88-95 Isuzu Pup. This kit comes with everything you see in the pics. The main tube bolts directly to where the lower control arm bolt/nut go. You can even use the factory bolt as the threads inside the tube on that end are M14 x1 .5 the same as the factory bolt. The tube and brace fit there and can be welded on once you put the bolt through and tighten it up. Minor trimming for the tube along the bottom of the frame is necessary. However you don't even need to remove the lower arm to install this kit. It's certainly better if you do. Here are some of the features:
** Fits 88-95 Pup stock lower control arms
** Bolts onto the factory lower control arm bolt. Tube and brace weld to frame.
** No alignment kit need to install. Easy, aligns itself during installation.
** Can be installed before removing the factory strut rods to ensure proper lower arm alignment.
** The tube and brace are the same ones we use on our Isuzu lower control arm set so if you decide to upgrade from strut rod eliminated stock lowers to our tube lowers they will bolt right on to this same tube.
** The bushings are Energy Suspension graphite impregnated polyurethane. The best poly bushings availble anywhere.
** The outer washer is stainless and the bolt on that end is grade 8
** Bushing outer and inner sleeves are DOM tube.
** Main bent arms are 1" od DOM with a .250" (1/4") wall.
In the kit:
Two main tubes with braces already welded on.
Two bent tubes with their braces already welded on.
Four poly bushings
Two steel inner sleeves
Two grade 8 bolts
Two stainless washers
You can see from the pics pretty much how this installs. You simply remove the nut from the lower control arm main bolt. Trim the cirved metal under it and then test fit the main tube. Mark where the brace goes and grind that area to bare metal in preparation for welding. Install the tube with the factory main bolt and tighten. Weld or tack weld and then remove the control arm so you don't burn up the rubber bushing. Or tack a little and blow it cool with air until it's done. Weld the frame brace also. Then weld the other end on the control arm. It fits best as low down on the arm as possible.
