This is the listing for the frame boxes that fit the 65-79 chassis and bolts into the frame and then the crossmember center section bolts in between these boxes. This is part #501 and works with parts in the 500 series.

These boxes include crush sleeves in the middle holes to keep the frame straight and not bow in. The use of two lower bolts and two upper bolts along with the 6 bolts thru each side of the frame assures a secure connection to the frame for your CPO narrower crossmember. You can choose to weld these in also. They are made with .188" thick HR P&O plate, laser cut with tabs to allow them to be assembled accurately. They are tig welded. The inner crush tubes are 1" DOM tube with a .250" wall leaving a .500" hole.
These boxes line up with the 6 holes in the side of the frame, two on top and two on bottom of the 65-79 F-100 chassis. These holes are already in the F-100 frame and just need to be reamed to a true 1/2" hole. We also make these for 53-64 chassis and 73-79 chassis. They have threaded bungs in top and bottom so you're not fishing nuts and washers inside the frame. Just screw the bolts in and go.
