Upper arm mount, CPO Crown Vic Narrow XMBR - #506 - For coilovers or bags

This is our upper control arm mounts for the CPO narrow crossmember for the the 65-79 F-100 chassis. This item uses factory or aftermarket Crown Vic control arms and made for coilovers or bags. We have a separate piece for using factory struts that has a dedicated factory strut upper mount. This gives you lots of options for ride height and tuning it in like you want. With this mount you would also need the bolt on coilover or upper bag mount. This is part # 506 and works with #506-B or 506-C

These upper arm mounts have holes that match existing holes in the 65-79 F-100 chassis. The 6 holes on the side of the frame that originally mounted the coil spring pockets. Those rivet holes are what lines this up. I'll add install pics of these as I get them taken on our test frame in the CPO shop. Please message me anytime for questions about this or other CPO items. 

As you can see in the pics this upper mount uses slotted holes and cam loops for cam bolts/offset washers. The ones it uses are the same ones made for 88-98 GM fullsize trucks. The cam bolts and washers do not come in this kit. As a hardware item if we source it we have to add something for handling and then we have to ship it as well. You can get them for the same cost I can. So here are some popular part numbers for those:

 The one we designed the laser cut parts off of is the #87400 kit from O'reilly auto parts. I really like the quality of the 87400 kit. It comes with all 4. Some of those others above are just two. I got those numbers off Rockauto.  

I'm sure O'reilly also has other part numbers as well as any other parts store. As long as you ask for 88-98 GM fullsize upper control arm bolts you're good to go. 

Note: I own two 97-03 F-150s that also use cam bolts but the washers are slightly larger. There are lots of other vehicles that use cam bolts and I doubt any would be the same. So use the correct ones. 

The great thing about cam bolts is that it makes adjusting caster and camber very easy. Just need two 13/16" or 21mm wrenches to turn the cam bolts. 

We will offer this  bolt kit at some point as we find a vendor to get them at a decent cost.
