This is our 03-11 Crown Vic 1" shorter adjustable upper control arm set.
This set works with our 1" shorter lower control arm set and is adjustable from 1" shorter and adjusts out about 1" which will cure any camber issue you may have with your Crown Vic suspension. These are made with 1" od DOM tube with a .188" wall and have a 3/4-16 thread stud in each tube. The tubes are threaded and have jam nuts.
These come with a factory style balljoint #K500042 which is what fits the factory arms so they are easy to find if they ever need replacing. This balljoint part number is the one that uses a snap ring after pressing in. They also feature an accordion style rubber boot with wire rings top and bottom to keep the boot on and grease inside.
The adjustable ends are a one piece item we just incorporated into this atest version. These are available from Speedway motors if you ever need them replaced.
These arms also come with an inner sleeve for the poly bushings so you can use the stock CV upper arm bolts. Plus the washers for the poly bushings are stainless so they won't need paint and won't rust.
These come with jam nuts. We recommend using a bit of anti seize on the threads of the stud and some blue loc-tite on the threads where the jam nut locks down. You MUST lock the jam nut down as if ot's left loose it will wear the threads and eventually fail.
